Director's Message

Jyoti is to enkindle rays of hope in the human hearts and to lend a helping hand to the marginalized and the downtrodden. Jyoti envisages to encompass the entire human life and his/her surroundings. It transmits a divine spark of Mercy to the social and cultural contexts of Punjab and Rajasthan and all over the Nation. It aims to empower the weak, to ignite hope in the hopeless, to strengthen the fragile and to heal the wounded. It has miles to go and a long mission to accomplish. It is to enhance the individual to stay on his/her own foot and to strive for his/her livelihood. Jyoti has a high vision to realize. It is to make everyone human by becoming a channel to inculcate values like dignity of human person, respect for the women, care for the orphans and a heart for the needy. Jyoti reassures the social commitment of Khrist Jyoti Province to live out the Charism of the Congregation "to be little and to serve the little". In the existing socio politico scenario of the Nation, it is inevitable to work for the integral development of the villages and their inhabitants as envisaged by our Founder Fr. Basilius Panat CST. Any attempt in this direction is like a flame of candle in the darkness. Obviously it defies the gloom, ease the plight and set the hearts ablaze. Best wishes and God’s abundant blessing to Jyoti!
