A Landscape Paradigm of Social Work in Punjab and Rajasthan

Jyoti is the philanthropic social mission of the Little Flower Religious and Charitable Society, Muktsar and Little Flower Charitable Society, Bikaner. Established in September 1977, it is a registered non-governmental organization under the Societies Regulation Act of the government of Punjab and Rajasthan, under the management of the KhristJyoti Province of the Little Flower Congregation in compliance with civil norms to carry out the works of charity among the least, last and lost of the society. The organization is engaged in charitable, educational and social up-liftment activities in the States of Punjab and Rajasthan. At present there are a number of Village Development Centers, Local Medium Schools, Balavadis, Foster Care Homes, Vocational Training Centres, Village Health Care Centres, and Women Empowerment Schemes working under the banner of Jyoti in different parts of these two states.
