Community volunteer work
By means of Community Volunteering, Jyoti provides an opportunity to both national and international volunteers to work for the improvement of local communities of Rajasthan and Punjab. They work with Village Development Centres that are established by Jyoti. It provides an opportunity for national and international volunteers to get in touch with the rich Indian village culture.
Skills-based volunteering
Skills-based volunteering is leveraging the specialized skills and the talents of individuals to strengthen the activities of Jyoti, helping them build and sustain their capacity to successfully achieve their missions. Through these volunteer programme, Jyoti welcomes all sections of the professionals to the villages to their sustainable development.
Internship Programme
The objective of the internship programme is to provide a framework through which postgraduate students from diverse academic backgrounds may be assigned to enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments. It allows the candidates to gain insight into the work of an organization with diverse activities and differential scope and outreach spread across two states in North India. It enables the students to get training in various professional fields.
Expose, Explore and Experience - Call to Collaboration
A number of Postgraduate Social Work groups from reputed social work colleges especially from South India have visited Jyoti and explored its activities, under the banner Jyoti Social Expo. They have profited significantly and have rated their exposure and experience as highly rewarding. The society also benefits from the feedback and inputs from such groups. Similar groups who share a commonality of vision are welcome to explore and experience the rich and diverse landscape of social work offered by Jyoti in the unique cultural and contextual setting of North India in general and Punjab and Rajasthan in particular.
